This has been a very exciting week at IPfolio....our official debut as a spin-off, the unveiling of our new website, and an exhibition at IP Counsel Cafe! Not to mention all of these events are backed by the most important detail - the launch of our new cloud-based IP Management software (psst...you can read more about it's flexibility and features here).
The two day conference, held at the Crowne Plaza Cabana in Palo Alto had a great turnout, some highly engaging speakers, beautiful weather and overall was a resounding success for the IPfolio team. Things were kicked off with a bang Tuesday morning with USPTO General Counsel Bernard Knight's keynote presentation on the implementation provisions, benefits and challenges posed by the AIA (America Invents Act). The networking luncheon was accompanied by an interesting panel of non-counsel speakers debating whether patents are hurting innovation. Day one wrapped up with a lively networking session and the opportunity to gather more great feedback from in-house counsel and IP managers from organizations that are looking for a tool just like IPfolio. Day two brought more excellent panel sessions, hot sunny weather, and a fun giveaway of limited edition scotch courtesy of European Trademark and Patent Attorney firm and fellow exhibitors Murgitryod.
We were really excited to be able to show off the IPfolio software and our new branding at our booth, and were even more excited by all the positive feedback we received. To check out more photos of the event check out the IPfolio Facebook page, and while you're at it, make sure to follow us on Twitter! Part of our fresh new approach to IP management includes being as accessible and friendly as we can, and wholeheartedly embracing engagement with you through social media!
